Lacking a court-issued warrant but acting on suspicions from an informant who reported that a man named Ali was selling crystal meth to teenagers in the Cherng Talay area, police at 3.30pm raided and searched a home in Mai Khao's Moo 1 locale.
The house's occupant, Somsak "Alee" Waree, 27, was arrested after the search uncovered 18 small ziplock bags, each containing between 1 and 4 g of crystal meth.
Police also seized a. 9mm bullet and other drug paraphernalia including a smoking device and a digital scale.
According to the police report, the unwarranted search and seizure was lawful under section 80 of the criminal code.
Somsak gave report that he had acquired the drugs from another unnamed supplier in the Koh Kaew area, having initially bought two bags of ice, each containing 10 grams.
He claimed that he had found the bullet on the side of the road a long time ago, the report read.
The suspect has been charged with possession of a Category 1 drug (crystal meth) with intent to sell.
