Krabi Marine Police at about 5pm today were dispatched to Koh Poda island in Krabi's Ao Nang sub district. There they found the boat Buwee in disrepair and the ten tourists, who were anxious but uninjured. Officers transported the tourists to the pier at Noparat Thara Beach. The tourists had chartered the boat from the pier at Ao Nang Beach this morning, having visited four islands today before the engine started having problems on the return to the mainland. Facing strong waves the boat's skipper made the decision to set anchor near Koh Poda island and call for help.
