ThaiVisa noted, “Although many feared that applications for the 2014 quotas had been shelved completely, as happened in 2010, it turns out that the government was just too busy to prepare to open for applications in December, as is normally the case.
“The necessary order stemming from a cabinet resolution and setting the quotas at 100 per nationality and 50 stateless persons was signed only on December 29 and published in the Royal Gazette on January 6. Therefore everything is just set back by a month.
“According to the announcement in the Royal Gazette, these are clearly the 2014 quotas, so Immigration should open again for applications in December this year.”
