Scheduled to open in 2019, the InterContinental Phuket Resort, located on Kamala Beach, between Millionaire’s Mile and the Amanpuri headland, marks InterContinental Hotels & Resorts’ debut on Thailand’s largest island.

The resort will be the sixth IHG property in the Phuket area, and the 19th IHG property in Thailand.
“Located on Kamala beach, InterContinental Phuket Resort will be one of the most exclusive luxury resorts in Phuket,” said Mr Watts.
“The resort itself will be within the exclusive development of MontAzure and will include a sophisticated beach club, luxurious private residences and lifestyle mall surrounded by a protected forest reserve.”
The InterContinental Phuket Resort, will comprise of a mix of villas and hotel rooms, and will be a key component in the overall MontAzure development. The entire 454-rai site includes 75 upscale beachfront branded condominiums, 13 exclusive private hillside estate villas, beach clubs for public and private use, a lifestyle retail component, a medical and wellness centre and a 200 rai protected nature reserve.

Across South East Asia, there are currently 14 InterContinental properties open, with an additional eight InterContinental properties due to open within the next three to five years.
