Phuket investigators, together with Kamala police and border patrol police (from Nakhon Si Thamarat) had been searching the area of Kok Tanode, soi 3 in Cherng Talay for three days, before finally discovering the corpse, which fits the description of Mr Alexy Slabinsky, 39.

The decomposed corpse was discovered with the help of sniffer dogs brought down from Nakhon Si Thamarat.
