Columbia Trail Masters race comes to Pattaya next month
TRAIL RUNNING: The fourth Thailand Trail Running Championship, “Columbia Trail Masters 2013”, will be held at Horseshoe Point Resort, Pattaya on January 13, 2013.

The event consists trail running races over three distances: a 21.5km off-road half marathon, a 10km trail run, and a 4km fun run (or walk) for families and children – all along scenic trails exploring the mountains, farmlands and greenery of the Pattaya countryside.
Organized by Active Management Asia, the off-road half marathon and 10km trail run will feature awards for men’s and women’s age categories.
The four kilometer family fun run is open to all ages, with free race registration for children aged 14 and below. The fun run, supported by the Horseshoe Point Resort, is designed to involve the local community in the event and to to promote sports, fair play and friendship amongst children – an initiative that has been very in other AMA events.
The event also features a barbecue dinner pre-race on Saturday January 12 with horse shows and activities for families, an expo village where sponsors can display their products and services, a kid’s corner, and the trophy ceremony and presentations, followed by a festive post-race lunch.
