All roads, sidewalks and landscaping on the surface around the underpass will be completed by April 15.
By the time it opens, the 820-metre-long tunnel and connecting roads will have taken two and a half years to complete.
Somkiet Yimhong, Project Engineer, said, “We will have grand opening on April 6. I just need to complete the electrical system and install CCTV cameras and lights.”
The opening comes two weeks before the expiry of the project contract.
