I recently attended the launch of the new daily gourmet brunch menu and was lucky enough to watch one of Chef Bryan Burger’s cooking demos. The menu features a lavish selection including Lobster Benedict; The Bun (burger with millionaire’s bacon, egg, and relish in a brioche bun); Fried Egg & Avocado Breakfast Pizza; grilled Portobello mushrooms with eggs and Parmesan cheese; and thick-cut French toast topped with caramel banana and cinnamon.
We started off with some Bloody Marys, followed shortly by the eggs Florentine. A simple, yet divine dish. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked and placed on a toasted baguette, topped with tasty bacon and sprinkled with parsley. The plate was completed with a garnish of tomato salsa. The smooth yolk of the eggs alongside the crustiness of the bacon was mouthwatering and a delicious combination. Just delightful.
