The man, known only as Martin, was at the Khoa Tor Sae Viewpoint on Radar Hill in Phuket Town with a friend when he was bitten by a monkey he tried to feed.
Martin was sent to Bangkok Hospital Phuket for treatment for his wounds.
Tourists are advised against feeding monkeys in the area.
