Lt Col Prawith Engchuan of Phuket City police told The Phuket News that when officers were called to the scene they found Surasit “Deaw” Sukhum lying dead in front of his home, which is right next to Kanokphat Karaoke.
They learned from witnesses that Mr Surasit had gone into the karaoke, where he had bragged loudly and bad-mouthed a group of five customers.
Naturally annoyed at this, the group taught him a lesson by stabbing him to death.
Police later arrested two men, Phusit Paosuparp, 43, and Apichaet Janpradit 33. They are looking for a third, whom they named as Chavalit Rattanamuang. The names of the other two customers are not yet known.
