However, they state that a team from the Mirror Foundation have now come on board to help police with their search for the missing boy.

Chief of the Wichit Police Col Kitipong Klaikaew told The Puket News today, “We are not yet able to provide any update about Nong DJ. Unfortunately, there are very few witnesses and we have received very little information.

“There are no CCTVs in the area from where he disappeared, and what CCTV footage we have seen shows no signs of Nong DJ.

“We are still hopeful that he is still alive,” Col Kitipong said.

Meanwhile, Ekkalak Lumchumkea along with four other members of the Mirror Foundation yesterday (Feb 7) printed and passed around missing notices about Nong DJ in the hope it will help find him.

The team also visited Nong DJ’s father in Patong. Spoke with Nong DJ’s neighbours and carried out a search of the area surrounding the boy’s home.

The Mirror Foundation published on its Facebook page: “Nong DJ is 95cm tall and weighs 12kg. At the time of his disappearance he was wearing white T-shirt with a picture of a black Angry Bird on the front, orange shorts and green shoes. If anyone has seen Nong DJ, please call 080-7752673”.
