The body of Simon Lian Hau, 68, was found early this morning (March 28), wearing a gray shirt and brown shorts. After a search of the body, Tah Chat Chai Police learned that the man was also British national and had checked in to a local hotel.
Hotel staff told police that the man had left the building alone. Police also learned that Hau was scheduled to be driven to Phuket International Airport at 7am to catch a 9am flight to Chiang Mai.
Police are continuing the investigation.
