Is your mind set strong enough for your journey?
A – Do you want to look better for vanity reasons? Setting goals through New Years Resolutions would be a weak motivating factors.
B- Having serious health problems such as living with symptoms of pain, poor blood work, high blood pressure, sleep disorders, organ dysfunction, are all strong motivating factors to make your journey reach a more successful outcome.
Having a clean house is the first step. Clean out your refrigerator and kitchen cupboards and line up some delightful healthy food and photograph them.
Enlarge the photo and stick it on your refrigerator door at the top. This is what holistic Chef Barry did back in the 80s to start his weight loss journey.
Take out a large piece of paper and draw a dark line down the centre of the page. Then write all the major food groups on the left side of the line taken from your photo, and all products documented in your kitchen giving ample space between the food groups. The major forbidden food groups for your weight loss will be:
A- Meats Very slow transit time, with missing dietary fibre, plus it must be cooked to kill parasites and microbes rendering the food dead and missing essential enzymes.
B- Dairy Mucus-forming slow transit time, with missing dietary fibre. It acts as a dead food missing essential enzymes.
C- Processed foods including many beverages, act like glue inside your body with very slow transit time and spikes your blood sugar turning the simple carbs into fat cells. They’re also missing essential dietary enzymes.
D- Breads including gluten grains. Unless you intend to sprout them into grass, bakery poducts are processed, simple carbohydrates that act like glue from the lack of dietary fibre inside the human intestinal tract.
This turns the food into sugar with no essential enzymes. It takes a long time to travel through your intestinal tract.
E- Candy, confectionery – These foods are missing essential enzymes, and are also a major part of the GMO product line.
F- Restaurant and take out food – Try to whip up your own meals as much as possible. Only you (the cook) knows what food is actually on that plate.
Document and build your forbidden food list.
Then look at your photo of forbidden foods and beverages and study them. Look down on the left side of the line at your current diet, then study your list leaving the right side blank. This part is very important.
Organising your new weight loss plan.
Now draw short horizontal lines from each food on the left side, and over to the right of your food list. Make several copies of this list so you do not lose it and paste the original list to the front door of your refrigerator right under the enlarged photo of your forbidden foods.
What to replace for your weight loss plan?
Now, replace the main unhealthy foods with the following items. These items must be removed from your kitchen as follows: toaster, microwave, deep fryer, waffle maker, all bakery items, barbecue stand as well as any kitchen items that overheat your food.
All these items increase the risk of cancer causing acrylamide production of the overheated cooked foods including coffee and grains. All baked foods can cause many cancers if the dietary habit is not curtailed.
The FDA has well researched this phenomenon, called “Acrylamide” – a production of cell mutation to the overcooked grains.
