Australian Embassy to hold Phuket outreach visit

PHUKET: The Consular Services section of the Australian Embassy in Bangkok will conduct a Consular outreach visit to Phuket on Friday, September 11.

The visit will be held from 9am to midday and 1pm to 4pm at the Australian Consulate in Phuket, at: 77/77 Unit 6D Moo 5, Chalermprakiat Rama 9 (the bypass road) in Rassada. Tel: 076-510111

During this visit, the following services will be provided:

  • Passport applications – please ensure you bring all original documents and a photocopy of each document with you.
  • Notarial services
  • Statutory declarations for marriage, retirement visas and driving licence renewals
  • Witnessing documents
  • Certified true copies of documents (please ensure you bring the original and a photocopy of each document with you)

Fees are payable in cash only. Please call the Consular section at 02-344 6300 before your visit to confirm fees payable.

Although the Australian Consluate in Phuket can provide limited consular assistance, the Australian Embassy noted in its announcement that honorary consuls are not able to perform the following services:

  • Perform notarial functions (such as witnessing documents)
  • Accept or process passport applications
  • Accept or provide advice on visa applications
  • Accept or provide advice on Australian Citizenship applications
