A woman was arrested yesterday (February 27) for selling drugs in the Thalang area.

A woman was arrested yesterday (February 27) for selling drugs in the Thalang area.

Police received a tip-off about Natnicha "Tar" Wongsopa selling meth and crystal meth in the Thalang area.

The investigation team went to Tar's house and questioned her about her drug dealing. Tar admitted to selling drugs and said she still had some left over hidden behind the wall next to her house.

Police discovered 17 plastic bags with 10 pills in each bag.

Tar told the police that she became a drug dealer because she needed to feed her baby. She said she received the drugs from a drug dealer network in Phuket prison, which involved her ex-lover Ekkachai Laisue, who was arrested earlier.

They communicated via mobile phone. Before Tar was arrested, she ordered 400 meth pills from Ekkachai.

On Wednesday (February 25), she was contacted by someone in Ekkachai's network to pick up the pills at 7pm at the entrance of Sri Sunthorn Temple.

She sold most of the drugs to her customers and hid the rest near her house.
