The tournament brought together 70 players from Phuket, Trang, Songkhla, Phang Nga, Krabi and Surat Thani who all participated in an effort to raise money for the Baan Khok Wat Mai School.
Three doubles competitions were held for intermediate players, an over 80 combined age event and an open tournament. The winning teams were as follows:
Intermediate Player Tournament: Khun Winya and Khun Wannachai from Trisara
Over 80s combined age Tournament: Khun Woravug and Dr Banyong
Open Tournament: Khun Chanathip and Khun Kongnath from Thanyapura
Outrigger Laguna Phuket would like to thank the support of their sponsors and all who participated in the two day event which raised over B60,000.
These funds will be invested in the Baan Khok Wat Mai School project starting with renovations to the school’s canteen which will commence at the end of March.
