The race takes place at Thanaypura in northern Phuket and will include four distances: 10 mile (16km), 5 mile (8km), 2 miles (3.2km), and 500 meters for children aged 4–12.
Registration is still open to anyone interested in participating in the event. The last chance to register for the event is at the expo tomorrow (March 21) at Thanyapura The View from 10am to 6pm – all runners are expected to pick up their race bib and chips on this day.
Runners will be able to check their times on race day at about 5pm on Sunday (March 22) on supersports.co.th, thanyapura.com and sportstas.asia.
The 10 mile race is devided between men and women, and into age groups of 15–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, and older than 60.
Toon, the well-known singer of the famous Thai band Body Slam, will participate in the event.
Cash prizes will be awarded to podium finishers in the international race as first place wins B20,000, second place wins B10,000 and third place will get B5,000. Thai runners, meanwhile, will have a chance to win B10,000 for first place, B7,000 for second place and B3,000 for third place. First to fifth place runners in each group receive a trophy.
