The event begins tomorrow (February 14) and continues until Sunday (February 16).
Both teams will be looking to advance in the Group II, Zone Asia/Oceania leg of the competition.
The first day of the competition will feature two singles matchups as Thailand's Warit Sornbutnark will play Phillip King followed by Wishaya Trongcharoenchaikul against Ognian Kolev.
Day two of the competition will pit both King and Kolev in a doubles match against Pruchya Isarow and Nuttaron Kadchapanan.
On day three, it's back to singles matches with Wishaya taking on King and Warit facing-off against Kolev.
The entire event will be aired live on TRUE Visions - Sports 7.
The Thai team is currently ranked 50th in the world according to the latest International Tennis Federation standings while Hong Kong sit at 68th.
The winner of the opening tie will take on Kuwait in early April, which defeated Indonesia two weeks ago 3-2. Last year, Thailand beat Kuwait 4-1 before losing to the same score in round two against the Philippines.
