A jolly good time

Deck the halls with boughs of holly, fa la la la lah, la la la la... yes it’s that time of year again folks! And even if the weather forecast doesn’t promise glistening white meadows, that’s no reason to be a Grinch or Scrooge!

So grab your santa hat, green and red attire and get ready to let the holiday spirit take over: The Phuket Christmas Festival will be held on December 20 at Surakul Stadium.

This is the second time the festival has come to Phuket Town and there will be no entry fee to get in! Delicious holiday food and beverages will be provided, complimentary of course, and good news for the kids as fun goody bags will also be given out.

Also, on the morning of Friday (December 19), there will be a Christmas parade, starting from the Sanam Chai field (opposite Phuket Provincial Hall) and continue to Krabi Rd via Narasorn and Thalang Rds, before continuing on to Vichitsongkram Rd and finally ending up at Surakul Stadium.

Saturday’s festival will welcome Ten Nararak, The Star and Pure KPN who will put on a mini concert.

Doors open at 5pm on Saturday, with music entertainment to commence at 7pm and last until 10pm. The festival has been made possible by the Phuket Provincial Administrative Organisation (PPAO) and the Phuket Christian Committee. Class Act Media are proud media sponsors of the event.
