22-year-old deaf and mute man missing in Phuket

PHUKET: A 22-year-old deaf and mute man has been missing from his home in Soi Srisuthat, Talad Yai, since Tuesday morning (January 27). He was reported missing by his mother yersterday morning (January 28) at the Phuket city police station.

The man, named as Terdsak Sankaew, was last seen wearing a short grey skirt and floral top. He is described as 160cm tall with shoulder length hair, he has a dark skin tone and walks with a limp.

Terdsak̕s mother Saithong Sankaew, 37, said found out her son was missing after returning home from work on Tuesday.

She said that Terdsak had only moved in with her three months ago after moving to Phuket from from Loei. She also said that he tends to have a moody temper.

Terdsak had previously gone missing on Sunday (January 25), but was found wondering in front of Vachira hospital. He got upset with his mother for taking him home, which is the reason she believes he has left again.

Ms Saithong is afraid for Terdsak̕s safety as he can't talk or hear. He has taken all his clothes with him.

Appart from his mother, Terdsak knows nobody else on Phuket.
