Mr Somyod was thrown out of his vehicle when it rebounded after the crash. He was rushed to Thalang Hospital, where he died of his injuries.
Witnesses told police that they saw Mr Somyod’s vehicle coming from the north at high speed.
Police received a report that he had left a nightclub just before the crash. They believe he may have fallen asleep at the wheel.
