TAT public relations manager Pongsak Kanittanon told e-Travel Blackboard that the TAT considers agents its “closest friends” and that it will keep applying pressure for the swift arrests of the two would-be bag snatchers who killed Mrs Smith.
“This incident affected a group of travel agents whom we consider our closest friends, who help us to promote the destinations in Thailand,” Mr Kanittanon said.
“We will closely monitor the situation and raise this incident with the higher authorities in Bangkok to ensure that something like this will never happen again.”
