‘Popera’ charity gig at Trisara for benefit of needy students

Locals and visitors alike are eagerly awaiting the upcoming fundraising event, “A Night at the Opera”, to be held Saturday, September 13, at Trisara.

To benefit local charity Phuket Has Been Good To Us, guests attending the elegant evening will be treated to the music of FIVERA, Thailand’s first and only pop-opera band. Performing a blend of classics, arias and pop music, FIVERA have been building a considerable buzz with their fresh take on opera.

While taking in the performance, guests will indulge in a decadent dinner and drinks prepared by the chefs of Trisara. In addition to the music, bidding is expected to be fierce on some incredible prizes, including two nights in one of Trisara’s amazing Ocean Pool Villas along with overseas holidays to Bali and Yangon.

“Composing the perfect evening is no simple task, but Trisara understands the importance of the work we do and are very keen to help ensure the night is an outstanding success”, remarked Tina Hall, Director of Operations for Phuket Has Been Good To Us. “We can’t wait to bring this evening of elegance to Phuket.”
Tickets are available for a donation of 4,000 baht. Bookings can be made by contacting Trisara on +66(0)76 310 100 or reservations@trisara.com.

All proceeds from this event will go to Phuket Has Been Good To Us; a Thai registered charity established in the aftermath of the 2004 Asian tsunami.
The money raised will enable Phuket Has Been Good To Us to continue to expand their much needed English education programme that provides free English lessons to more than 1,000 underprivileged Thai children, aged 3-18, in three government schools in Phuket.
