The Islanders displayed an aggressive attacking style against Raj Pracha, who will be relegated to the Thai Division 2 next year.
The win gave Phuket FC a sorely needed three points and are now sitting at the 13th spot (out of 18) two spots ahead of the relegation zone.
Though the Islanders are still mathematically eligible for relegation, it will depend on how Phattalung (31 points) and Songkhla (36 points) fare against their opponents Bangkok United and Chantaburi, respectively.
The final game of the season takes place this Saturday at home against JW Rangsit, who will be relegated next year. Kick-off is set for 4pm at Surakul Stadium.
