Electricity outage to affect area near Heroines Monument

PHUKET: The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) has announced that the electricity supply will be temporarily shut off to the area southwest of the Heroines Monument on Saturday (Dec 5) as work is carried out on installing new high-voltage cables.

The area to be affected by the power outage, from 9am to 4:30pm, is along the west side of Thepkrasattri Rd, from Wat Tha Ruea to the 7-Eleven on Srisoonthorn Rd, west of the Heroines Monument (see map above).

In its announcement, the PEA apologised for any inconvenience caused while the work is carried out.
