Owner of the small, community-based school, Christine Reilly said she was excited about the new school year.
“Shining Stars has always been an organic entity, of which I am merely the caretaker, nurturer. When we opened in 2008, we had a handful of kids, but the school grew rapidly, changed and developed. We now have between 25-35 at any one time.
“One of the best things about running a school is being able to be flexible. Shifting with the kids, creating moments and encouraging them to use their natural creative impulses. The energy of Shining Stars is amazing, it’s built up a momentum throughout the years.”
