PHUKET: Phuket’s renowned businessman Boon Yongsakul, Chairman of Boat Pattana Co Ltd, has appointed Chairman of the Phuket Real Estate Association (P-REA).

Monday 15 May 2017, 06:28PM

The appointment came at the association’s annual general conference, held at Phuket Boat Lagoon’s White House, on May 8.

The association held its election after the keynote presentation by Prof Lertmongkol on the topic “Turning risk into reward with land taxes and buildings”.

Mr Boon replaces Thanusak Puengdet, whose term has ended.

“I am honoured to accept and entrusted with such great privilege. I am ready to work with the new committee and equally to learn from the well-trusted team,” Mr Boon said.

“I plan to continue the great works by the former Chairman, by reaching out to the members and by partnering with more foreign investors, for the benefit of the island.”
