Authoritities said there are four flooded areas on Thepkrassattri Road.
1/ Sapum Junction
2/ In front of the Isuzu showroom
3/ Tarua village area
and in front of the Susco company
If people need to travel to the airport or travel north off Phuket from Phuket Town they are advised to take the following route:
Start at the Tainan Junction at Central Festival, travel through Kathu until you reach the road the Mining Museum is on. This road meets up with the road behind the British International School, which will mean you avoid the worst hit areas of Thepkrassattri.
People are also advised to avoid the following areas in Phuket: Gomarabhat junction, Satree Phuket junction, Taw Nahm junction, Talang Road, Yaowarat Road, Ranong Road, Rassada Road, Bangkok Road and Suriyadet circle.
