The 40-year-old is the 11th woman to be given the title by Esquire, as previous honorees included Halle Barry, South Africa’s Charlize Theron, and 2013 winner Scarlett Johansson.
“I had an attraction to drama. Most of us have that, especially if you are an artist -- you feel like you are tempted to explore the darkness. I could not be less interested now. For me, the most attractive, charming, cool, fun, interesting thing – how could I call it? A plan,” she told the magazine.
In a lengthy interview, the actress says she doesn’t feel like the sexiest woman alive, instead she “feels like a mother who doesn’t get enough sleep...”.
