PHUKET: There have been reports one person is dead and another injured following a landslide in Patong this afternoon.

The area where the landslide took place has now been cleared.
Residents at the scene told The Phuket News the landslide happened around 3pm today, at what appears to be a construction site in the hills behind Soi Nanai.
The scene of the incident had been cleared and the injured person was taken to Patong Hospital.
