Mr Patee said floods around Don Muang Airport had made it impossible to continue offering services to passengers. However, the airport authorities have not issued any notifications on whether the airport will close.
However, an official at the airport said floods had not broken through dykes or caused flooding of airport buildings or runways.
Another airline based in Don Muang Airport, Solar Air, has already moved flights to U-Tapao Airport, near Pattaya, while Orient Thai Airlines has yet to announce its intentions.
Nok Air may opt to transfer its flights to Suvarnabhumi Airport as an interim measure.
