New warrant out for Phra Dhammajayo’s arrest

Col Pitipat Tawatwichian, deputy chief of the provincial police in charge of the case, said investigators presented evidence to the court showing that Phra Dhammajayo had encroached on Phu Puay, Phu Khithao and Phu Rua forest reserves in Phu Rua district to build a forest monastery called Wat Pa Himmawan, a branch of Wat Phra Dhammakaya.

The court approved an arrest warrant for Phra Dhammajayo on Monday (Aug 15).

The caretaker for the property, Sakchai Mongkolkeha, was charged by police with conspiring in the alleged encroachment.

He had reported to police to hear the charges.

The provincial police sought court approval for the arrest of Phra Dhammajayo after deputy police chief Gen Srivara Ransibrahmanakul led police, soldiers and officials from the National Office of Buddhism in a search of Wat Pa Himmawan on July 14.

They found alleged evidence Phra Dhammajayo had falsely obtained Nor Sor 3 Kor documents for 10 blocks of land totalling 129 rai which are part of Phu Puay, Phu Khithao and Phu Rua forest reserves, violations under the Forestry Act, Land Act and National Forest Reserves Act.

Staff of Wat Phra Dhammakaya told the media later yesterday (Aug 16) that the 129-rai land belonged to the temple, not its abbot, and the Phu Rua district chief wrote to the Loei governor on July 24 this year that the land was not a part of the three mentioned forest reserves.

Seems that Joe12 reads to fast or to selective due to mind setting.
In my comment is no disrespects for 'our' monks.
I have disrespect for Abbots and their monk business clans of Wat Pa Himmawan, Wat Phra Dhammakaya, and that disgustingting place called Tiger temple.

Breeding tigers, drug them constantly, selling their body parts, putting tiger cubs in bottles for sale.
Resisting law enforcement.
Monks in pick up vans tried to smuggle tigers out of Tiger Temple complex.

And then that temple complex turned into a razor wired ( militair material!) fortress to resist arrests by orders written clearly on court arrest warrants.
Stolen 129 rai of peoples forest reserves, now suddenly 'willing' to give it back.
And so on and so on.

Not yet talking about that monk who owns a plane and just flew to USA to escape arrest.
Thailand did ask with a court arrest warrant now for his extradition, right?
All his 'friend monks' who enjoyed his flight invitations, I not see them as 'our monks'.
Has nothing to do with monkhood, and many of my thai friends feel the same.

So, what Joe12 calls 'our monks' are not my monks.
And I am sure all thai who know what is going on feel the same about these scrupulous business men in orange robes with outstanding thai court arrest warrants, who are violating the normal thai laws in order to get rich over the back of their 'followers'.
It are liars, cheaters, not living according the teaching of Lord Buddha.

And for Joe12: It doesn't require a law degree to understand the meaning of resisting arrests and that of thai arrest warrants.

Kurt... try appraise yourself of the law and what is required. Better still go get a Law degree, that way you won't sound so dumb and not disrespect our monks

Warrant over warrant, how many warrants totally are there now for this abbot and the criminals in the 'staff' circle around him?
This abbot did all the criminal things not alone.
When will this criminal abbot now be arrested?
Pressent situation is a shame for thai Buddhism and it also gives wrong signal to the uneducated people who still pray and wai for this criminal abbot.

And it is not exactly a great international show to see the thai law enforcement authorities sitting on their hands and not arrest.

What is the use of all these warrants if thai authorities not executive them?
Writing a 'razor wired' thai monk fortress soap opera first?
