Hosted for the third year running by Bliss Beach Club, more than 200 beautifully adorned guests enjoyed a night of high fashion, exquisite food and free flow wine raising more than B750,000 for the foundation.
Dressed in their best ‘beach chic’ attire, guests feasted on delicate servings of food with a Latin twist prepared by Alex Oddy of Bliss Beach Club, Daniel and Shannon Moran of Point Yamu by COMO, Jan Hollister of SALA, Cheryl Johnson of Breeze @ Cape Yamu and Lady Pie.
Sipping on bubbly, cocktails and free flow wine guests were treated to live entertainment from EKA Soundz and a stunning fashion show featuring the latest line from Island Bliss.
Tina Hall, Director of Operations for Phuket Has Been Good To Us, is delighted with the result. "I am always amazed at the incredible generosity of the Phuket community. We are so grateful to everyone who helped make this special night possible."
The money raised at the event is vital to the work of Phuket Has Been Good To Us allowing them to continually expand their much needed English education programme. This year the foundation has committed to employing a fully qualified Kindergarten teacher to teach English to almost 300 children aged 3-7 years.
Established in the aftermath of the 2004 Asian tsunami, Phuket Has Been Good To Us provides free English lessons to more than 1,100 less fortunate Thai children aged from 3 to 18 in three government schools in Phuket.
