Are we evolving backwards?

Sunday 2 November 2025 11:00 AM
Humans spent millions of years evolving to stand tall – hunting, gathering, farming and building civilisations. And now? We are hunched over laptops, necks craned toward glowing rectangles, thumbs twitching faster than thoughts. Our opposable thumbs once allowed us to master tools; now the tools are mastering us, literally reshaping our bodies.

Sadly, for a long time the romance genre remained an area that Hollywood just simply refused to experiment with. You can can’t really blame them though because despite how many boy meets girl, girl doesn’t like boy, boy has to win over girl movies were being made they seemed to always make a massive amount of money at the box office.

Here in Phuket, we are accustomed to seeing the glittering, flawless façade of luxury tourism. Exploring Natural Phuket in Green Season

Sunday 5 October 2025 12:00 PM
For me the green season, or monsoon season, is a great time to get out and about for several reasons. Firstly it’s not so hot so you can actually spend time wandering around at your leisure to find new places and see new things without getting cooked. Secondly, the rain the plants and insects come out so there is a lot for the birds to feed on and as such more to see. There are also far less people around meaning it is quieter and less likely to scare the wildlife away. As normal this year, there are many birds around even in the busy tourist areas, if you actually take your time and look, especially in the back streets.
