Described by organisers as “a hip beach run combining health, fun, and a beach party” the Apr 11 beach festival event will take place at XANA Beach Club, Angsana Laguna Phuket.
Starting at 5:30pm the race will incorporate two separate distances for male and female athletes: a 3-kilometre Fun Run and a 6km Super Fun Run.
An energetic warm-up set to upbeat music will prepare participants by building positive energy ahead of the race before runners take off along the beach while taking in the breathtaking golden hour sunset.
Trophies will be distributed to the top three finishers in each race category for male and female runners, while a special “Best Sunset Beach Style” award will be given to the runner with the most outstanding attire, be it bikinis, colourful running outfits, or creative beach looks.
After crossing the finish line, participants can relax with muscle-relieving massages from Angsana Spa’s professional therapists, while a variety of games and lucky draw events offer the chance to win a range of luxurious prizes from Laguna Phuket hotels.
Registration fee is B500, which includes a commemorative shirt, bib number, participant medal and snacks.
Bibs can be collected from XANA Beach Club on the day of Apr 11 from 2pm onwards ahead of the race start.
