Beach guards reported that Mr Qi and his daughter ignored red “no swimming” flags and entered the dangerous surf, and soon were swept away from the beach by large waves.

Lifeguards on patrol quickly recovered the pair from the heavy surf, but Mr Qi was already conscious.

Qi Dhun Hua is not a Korean name. Better double check if a nationality is to be included in the title.

Would be interesting to knew the percentage of Chines ,Korean or any other Nation who drown every year in relation to there numbers on the island so the authorities have a better picture who are the most stupid and ignorant and keep an extra eye on them
