The opening game tonight (June 8) sees Poland take on Greece at 11pm, Thai time. The Poles will have the homefield advantage and have the weight of a nation behind them, but will it be enough to beat the Euro 2006 champions?
The quarters, semis and final will be played at 1.45am from June 22. Who will reach those stages is anyone’s guess, but World Cup 2010 winners Germany are more than likely to be a safe bet (although gambling is illegal in Thailand, so don’t bet).
Other favourites include a Torres-spearheaded Spain, a very strong Dutch side and of course there’s always England... Seriously.
All games are played at either 11pm or 1.45am, Thai time. For a full breakdown of all the matches, don’t forget to buy this week’s edition.
