Will the mandatory registration of my SIM card, which requires with a photo of my face and presentation of my passport, make it easier to block calls if my phone is stolen?

Answers:

If your phone is stolen, you can visit any AIS outlet or Telewiz shop nationwide and have your service temporarily suspended within 30 minutes. For more information call the AIS Call Center at 1175.

Registering your SIM will help us to detect and recover your phone faster in event of theft, but if your SIM has been lost or stolen, you must first file a report to the police and bring that report to the DTAC outlet with you when requesting your new SIM.

DTAC will replace your SIM card if it has been damaged, lost or stolen. In all cases, you must present ID when you request the new SIM in person.

If your SIM has been lost or stolen, you must first inform the local police and bring the police report and your ID or passport with you to the TrueMove center when requesting a new SIM card.

It may take some time for us to confirm that your phone has been registered and to confirm that you are indeed the registered owner of the SIM number you are requesting. For more information call the TrueMove Call Center at 1331.
