Only parents are invited to the event, which involves all the students and staff from preschool all the way up to Year 12.
Miki Edouard, manager, school administration and registration for Headstart said, “This special event is a time for us all to come together to share a little of our own cultural backgrounds with other members of the community, as well as a chance for us all to learn lots of exciting and interesting things about the world.”
Throughout this non fund-raising event, each student will be asked to take part by setting up tables, displays or areas in which to represent their home country. Games, songs, food and lots of fun activities will be the order of the day.
Some countries likely to be represented are American, Filipino, Italian, Russian, Pakistani, Vietnamese and many more.
Mrs Edouard said, “The International Day really is a wonderfully rewarding experience, and very special for the students.”
