Fitted with a 6-litre V12 engine, and with a four-metre long body made mainly from carbon-fibre, the roofless CC100 can accelerate from zero to 62mph in four seconds, and has a top speed of 180mph.

The CC100 made its global debut last week when Aston Martin CEO Dr Ulrich Bez drove it on the north loop of Germany’s famed Nürburgring car testing circuit.

With a body and interior tooled and provided by low volume specialists Multimatic, the CC100 utilises the latest generation AM11 naturally aspirated V12 petrol engine mated to a six-speed hydraulically actuated automated sequential manual transmission, which is controlled via steering column-mounted paddle shifts.

The one of a kind CC100 will go on tour around the world, as part of Aston Martin’s anniversary celebrations. It’s understood that the car has already been sold to a wealthy client for around £500,000 (B22 billion).
