Getting healthy, the clean way

The whole “vegan raw before 4”, “clean eating” and “green juice” crazes have exploded in the West, and it’s only a matter of time before you see more of these healthy eating trends take off here in Phuket.

Today, I want to briefly talk about clean eating, which is essentially eating pure and natural foods, as opposed to processed foods. Clean eating is a simple yet logical way to get a long-term result for your health and figure.
All the addictive chemicals found in most consumer foods (what you get at the convenient store) are obviously not good for you. The packaging is an indicator, they lure you in, because it is a business, and in short, to get you addicted so they can make more money.

Clean eating in no way means restricting you to only the things the body needs, it simply cuts out the things that could never naturally grow on this planet. Luckily there are tens of thousands if not millions of clean and natural foods on this planet to save the day.

Clean eating is not in any way a diet, it is a lifestyle. And in this lifestyle, the first thing you should realize is that (refined) sugar is the main culprit to bad health. Previously, many nutritionists had claimed fats to be the biggest threat to health, but in fact the body does need a moderate amount of some fats, the omega fats found in avocades, for example. Speaking of which, I've got a sudden craving for vegan guacamole...
