Save the date, the Black Eyed Peas star to lead Naked Feet Beach Party in May 28 at XANA Beach Club.

Taboo, from the six-time Grammy award-winning American hip-hop group, The Black Eyed Peas will be performing at XANA Beach Club with Attica in Laguna Phuket on Thursday May 28 launching XANA’s first annual Naked Feet Beach Party.

Fans of the star will also have the option of joining an exclusive VIP Meet & Greet with Taboo which will be strictly by invitation only.

The Naked Feet beach party invites all partygoers to trip the light fantastic with bare feet on the soft white sand of Bangtao Beach and groove to the music as the global superstar Taboo of The Black Eyed Peas drops the beats.

On the night, all partygoer’s shoes will be given to underprivileged teenagers and adults through the Child-Watch Phuket Foundation. Upon arrival guests will have to remove their shoes, and when the event finishes walk home in complimentary stylish XANA beach flip-flops.

“We’re very excited to be the first in Phuket to launch this unique concept and to be able to give back to the community once again,” says Pancho Llamas, Vice President and Director of Special Projects at Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts.

“Having the internationally acclaimed celebrity Taboo perform will make sure this is going to be another epic event at XANA Beach Club!”

As a rapper, singer, dancer, DJ and member of the world famous Black Eyed Peas, Taboo’s sold out arenas, topped the charts and attained platinum plaques. He will be performing in Phuket for the very first time, supported by DJ Krypto and XANA Resident DJ Wii and Zii.

Taboo is set to bring the crowd on the ultimate ride through his very own DJ mix set and sing the top tracks of the BEP, where hip-pop mixes with the rhythms and beats of house, electro and techno music - and turn it into countless award-winning pop music. “Don’t stop the party”, “Boom Boom Pow”, “Where’s the Love?”, “I Gotta Feeling” are some of their massive hit songs to name a few. XANA’s multi-level design, picturesque beachfront location, and large capacity make it the stage of an endless list of international DJs, including Taboo’s band member Apl.de.ap from The Black Eyed Peas, DJ Paul Oakenfold who has performed to over 2,000 Phuket party goers at XANA in 2013 and 2014, DJ Frankie Knuckles, the Godfather of House music and DJ Dennis Ferrer, the founder of the Objektivity record label and Ministry of Sound.
