The first matches saw France take on Germany Green in both age groups.

In the under-14s match, the competition’s two top-ranked teams fought it out, with Germany Green looking to bounce back from last week’s defeat.

Both teams played attacking football, but in the final five minutes France were able to pull away, scoring two unanswered goals to win the game 9-6 and hand the German team their second defeat in as many weeks, as well as leapfrog them in the competition standings.

The under-11 match saw Germany Green maintain their pressure on runaway leaders Brazil by claiming a hard fought 3-1 victory over a spirited France team.

The second group of matches saw Brazil against Thailand in both age groups.

The under-14 match was another tight game, though it was Thailand who took more opportunities and finished up 5-3 winners.

Meanwhile the under-11 Brazil side continued to steamroll their way to the 2012 title by claiming their fifth win from five outings, downing an improving Thailand team 4-1.

The final matches saw Argentina take on Germany White. In the under-14s, Argentina claimed the honours for the first time this season with a clinical 8-4 victory.

In the under-11s, a strong defensive effort saw Germany White hold on for a 2-1 win, lifting them into third spot on the table.
