Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Disney and director JJ Abrams have big things planned for the franchise as it gears up for it’s seventh film in the series. With original cast members Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill alongside newcomers John Boyega and Oscar Isaac, fans will be lining up weeks in advance just to get a good seat in the theater.
To be released December 18, 2015.

The Martian

Matt Damon will star in Ridley Scott’s highly-anticipated film, The Martian, alongside actors Jeff Daniels and Jessica Chastain. The story is adapted from the 2012 Andy Weir novel of the same name where astronaut Mark Watney becomes stranded alone on Mars and must improvise in order to survive.
To be released November 25, 2015.

Mad Max: Fury Road

The reboot of the 1980s Mad Max series of films will star Tom Hardy in the titular role (made famous by Mel Gibson). A trailer for the film promises big, explosive action with a story that defines simplicity: in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, loner Max meets a woman (Charlize Theron) who wishes to cross the desert.
To be released May 15, 2015.

Jupiter Ascending

The Wachowski brothers (The Matrix trilogy) bring us Jupiter Ascending, starring Sean Bean, Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis. The original screenplay tells the story of human Jupiter Jones and interplanetary warrior Caine Wise in a sci-fi thriller with the potential for a franchise.
To be released February 6, 2015.

Kingsman: the Secret Service

Colin Firth, Samuel L. Jackson and Taron Egerton star in this action film based on the comic book of the same name. It tells the story of a secret spy organisation that recruits unrefined but promising street teens and their training.
To be released February 13, 2015.

Furious 7

Not only will this be Paul Walker’s final appearance on film, but Furious 7 will also see Jason Statham’s first shot as a villain. It will be interesting to see how director James Wan incorporates Walker’s death into the franchise’s storyline.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron
