More than 230 methamphetamine pills (ya ba), along with packets of crystal meth (ya ice), cocaine and marijuana were seized.
Police first arrested a mini-bus driver, Tossaporn Kongtong, 24, at Soi Patan U-thit in Rawai, in possession of 200 ya ba pills. He was reportedly selling the drugs to tourists and youth in Rawai.
His arrest led police to the arrests of the other seven on possession charges.
