It is alleged that Enzo Gareber, aged 42, from Switzerland robbed around 4 million Swiss Francs (B130 million) from a Swiss bank earlier this year.
The robber was arrested at a luxurious villa in Hua Hin. His bank account, along with possessions like cars, gold and motorcycles were also seized. The Director-General of the DSI revealed that other members of the gang had also escaped to Thailand.
It is believed that with the money, the robbers had bought a luxurious villa in Hua Hin district, Prajuabkhirikhan province.
