Khun Aen is well-known on Soi Bangla as this is where he earns his keep selling various wares. “He has an amazing spirit and is worthy of a lot more from life than he currently has,” event organiser Gregory “Westy” Westcott told The Phuket News.
“He is very excited to say the least and is looking forward to his new set of wheels and newly found freedom.
“Once again, The Phuket News will be there to cover the event as they have been since the start, with their excellent media coverage the event promises to be a huge turn out,” he added.
The mobility scooter, donated by Pride Mobility Products in Australia, will be the second to be donated by the company following the first donation earlier this year to Khun Wan, a lady who also sells wares on the famous party street. Khun Wan was born with no hands and badly disfigured legs.
The event on Friday will include a free barbecue and also a special drive-off by Khun Aen down Soi Bangla accompanied by 50 Harley-Davidson riders from various of the islandʼs big bike clubs.
Class Act Media is proud to be a sponsor of this event.
