“I used to pour it all down the drain, but it seemed such a waste,” said the mother, who declined to giver her name to Chinese reporters.

After she started washing her son’s skin with the soap, the mother began to sell her wares on Taobao, China’s answer to eBay and Amazon. The soap has proven popular with the over 500 million registered users on the site.

The mother claims the soap is not only used for a deep-cleaning adult skin, but can also prevent nappy rash on babies. So far, the mother has been able to sell the soaps into shapes like teddy bears, rabbits, tortoises, and fish.

Studies from the National Health Service in the UK say that babies who drink breast milk have a better chance of preventing eczema, diarrhea, and vomiting, as well as fewer ear infections.
