The 67-year-old yogi, who met with The Phuket News last month for this interview, has been accused by 29-year-old American protege Sarah Baughn of sexual harassment.
Indian newspaper, The Hindu, reports that Baughn also claims that Bikram refused to acknowledge a championship title she had previously won.
It is also alleged that the yogi told Baughn that they were friends from a past life. Baughn claims that Bikram first propositioned her at a 2005 teacher-training seminar in Los Angeles.
