Nirawal Sricharoen, one of the cab’s passengers, said that she and her husband had instructed the cabbie to drive them to a Honda dealership so they could buy a car.
They intended to pay cash, but left their funds sitting in the cab. Their taxi driver later tracked them down and returned their money.
In addition to the B2,000 reward that Nirawal gave the cab driver, he also received a “good person” commendation from traffic radio station Sor Wor Por 91.
The Nation reports that this designation came with a coveted, “Sor Wor Por 91 good person” T-shirt.
